Employers are required to have safety programs. An Injury and Illness Prevention Program,
or IIPP, is
required to be in a written form and must be implemented by all parties
named in the IIPP.
Safety Programs must be effective and discussed regularly for updates and
compliance. |

All employers have some sort of obligations to inspect
locations and their ongoing operations to ensure the safety to their
employees, and compliance with OSHA and other Standards.
Inspections must be conducted and documented as much as
possible. An industry or operation may require annual, monthly, weekly or
daily basis. In some instances daily or even multiple times daily might be
required (Lockout/Tagout for example). |
